A thread may already exist but nothing came up in a search so SHAZZAM here is my Windows 10 thread which is only here because I want to know how to access media stored my laptop from the PS3, which is connected to the same network. When I was running 8.1 this worked fine. Now it does not. I have Googled and read some stuff. Not the right stuff though.

I have only used it a bit but don't like it.
I can't see any reason to upgrade from 7 until something stops working. -
The fact Win7 looks fucking hideous was enough to get me to go to 8.

Couldn't give a shit what it looks like, 7 works and works well, it is like XP just modernised a bit.
If I wanted pretty I would have got another mac. -
8 for touchscreens, and 7 for mousers. -
I wouldn't upgrade from 7 to 10. I'd take any version of windows over 8. Even Vista.

8 introduced Metro so is objectively shite.
10 seems less shite than 8, but less not shite than 7. Maths is hard. -

Windows 10 probably isn't capable of doing what you want yet and Sony have probably abandoned the ps3 and won't update it for w10. So buy an Xbone. Which probably won't work either.

Actually the Bone is capable of it now that I think of it. The ps4 isn't.
