Hardware: Saitek X52 v X52pro

As Elite: Dangerous is about to enter Premium Beta I have come to realise that my logitech gamepad just isn't going to be able to handle all the requirements of space flight and have been looking at various HOTAS alternatives. Does anyone have experience of the 2 Saitek models and what advice would you give if I had to decide between the two?

They're more or less the same, the pro has a few differences like a second spring, better sensors, leds that you can set green/orange/red/off. I've got the pro version and I went for it because at the time it was only about 20 quid more expensive and I much prefer the look over the normal x52.

Thanks for the info, most appreciated. I'm still torn between the two but may end up with just the normal x52 as it seems most reasonably priced suppliers in the UK are out of stock.
