I picked this up on PS+ and after an hour or so of getting my head around the controls, Ive found it to be fiendishly addictive.
I'd go so far as to say it has shades of what made the Tony Hawk games so addictive from a 'restart and go for a better score' perspective.
Anyone else playing this? I can imagine it eating up a lot of time on Vita -

Yip loving it, oddly was expecting to be playing Zelda MM and Miami Hotline 2 but both underwhelmed while this was ace. Real feeling of progression as you start nailing the timing of the stunts.Switch Friend Code: SW-5407-6034-9226

I don't like it much either. Found it to be fairly dull. -
I really like it, although it makes me want to smash the pad through my face. -
I'm into it. Keeping a chain going whilst (simplistic) route learning appeals. I'll probably get fed up once it gets too tough, but I've been reaching for the Vita to enjoy the personal challenge of not fucking up rather than level progression.

The same reason I never really got on properly with the Tony Hawk games. Can't be arsed memorising 50+ tricks. Also it looks rubbish, graphically. Get why they went for that style but its dull to look at

I only do a handful of tricks in this, I'm not sure my fingers can purposefully handle the flicks and twitches for the rest. It's more about maintaining a constant link for me (at this stage anyway, I'm sure you need to vary the tricks to maximise points eventually). It's as much NiGHTS as Hawk's.

It did feel satisfying to nail a run where I didn't fuck up but I already get that feel from Trials.

I play it on and off when I have a short time gap to fill. I'm really enjoying it.Sometimes here. Sometimes Lurk. Occasionally writes a bad opinion then deletes it before posting.. -

I know what you mean - I get the feeling it's about spending time getting to know the mechanics/courses/feel - then once that's nailed you start to do more with the tricks for bigger scores etc. -
The final spots are stupid hard. Think I'm stuck on the third one, so watched some kid on YouTube doing it, and getting 3 million odd points.
Awesome game though. I kind of prefer playing the easier levels just to see how far up I can push my scores. Need to start adding spins in though, which is just a whole load more training of my muscle memory.PSN: Its_DanDan_Ey -

Vita all the way for me. It's great, but it would have to Trials-tier excellent for me to play it much on a telly console. 17 mins on the train home every few days is working out nicely for me.

Can I get some thoughts on the framerate when you've had some time with it pls. Would go for that version ideally but if it's a mess I'd have to reconsider.
