For various reasons i've been without consoles for near 6 months until recently, during that time i went to chess to get my versus fighting fix...

anyone else interested? Chess.com is 100% free and cross play over browser/iOS/android as well.

I'm no good but always up for some matches... "Smangerbot" is my handle.

Roujin is on it as well, but i won our last match because he took too long to make a move.

I have a chess.com account I think, but couldn't figure out the interface for love nor money. If people want to chess it up I do have Pure Chess on my Wii U. Top title and it's available on a variety of systems with cross platform play.

I didn't know there was an app, I'll investigate. (And see if I can remember my password, etc.)

The website is atrocious. I honestly couldn't work out if I was in a game or not, so I gave up. I only still have an account because I couldn't find a delete option.

I play on Chess.com occasionally but I'm guilty of timing out on the regular. Timed out of a 10 day limit when playing my dad. Chess is optimal with a few hours on the clock each, face to face.

But, yeah, I'll send some game invites out.

Coincidence: daughter had to take in toys over 3 gens, what her parents and grandparents played when they were little, and something she plays with. Fuck giving in my mint Game Boy, so I submitted a chess set. Not one I played when I was little, but a game I used to play lots anyway.

The set I gave to her was a travel set with etchings on the side for S and R (the wife). S is 15-3 up.

It's a set we played on honeymoon so she better not lose it.

I love that Elf's story revolves around him handing his daughter an item which you would have thought would hold great sentimental value for most people because he was worried that she might lose his Game Boy.

i've got 6 people i play regular games with, we set it to 14 days just in case but we get a few moves done everyday, as sometimes i have to work at work...

the app is pretty clean though, as its just a conduit for the website you can play people cross OS.

either way someone challenge me please

This was a 30min each game- people of my ability shouldn't really fall foul of a 30min timer since our analysis would be somewhat shallow compared to people playing it properly.

I took the victory though.

I've made a massive derp. Turns out the chess website I signed up for years ago but gave up on because I couldn't even figure out how to start a game was chess24.com, not chess.com.
