So if you are going to play festive music over the coming holiday, have you anything you fall back on? CDs, playlists, streams etc.
As well as the usual "Best Christmas Music Album ever.......vol 9", for sanity's sake it's always best to have something different to hand - these things will get playtime at some point starting from next week or so at my house:
Christmas Gift album - Phil Spector
Tony Bennett Swingin' Christmas with the Basie Band
Michael Buble (daughter 1 loves this)
Christmas Oratorio by Bach
A Carol compilation album from King's College or similar
CD Wifey picked up in EuroDisney that has a handful of tracks covering the music that assaults your ears if you go there during the season.
My personal nightmare is the cover of Fairytale of New York by Ronan Keating. The horror.
