Blaseball popped up without warning, and is a surreal ARG /sports betting simulator with weird shit attached to it.
You pick a team, and then your team plays 99 simulated games a week. We are currently in the Discipline Era.
I have chosen the Miami Dale in honour of the big dog Pitbull. They are also the most Chaotic Evil team. There's also a player on the team called Peanut Bong and one called Raul Leal.
There is a rulebook on the website, pretty much redacted.
You can purchase voting rights for each season (fake currency) so I have voted for "Eat The Rich", where the top 1% players for this season have their wealth redistributed. It was that or putting a curse on other teams.
That's kind of a scattergun summary, it's really tough to explain but completely off the fucking wall in a Frog Fractions sort of way, which appeals to me.
I'm a Philly Pies guy but I don't understand baseball which is stopping my interest going further than "haha names funny". Not sure I'll check back in on it again.
Would love it if it was literally any other sport.
