The number of fake accounts is important. But not as important as to the amount of content they create and the number of accounts they interact/connect with.

I think he's in a spot of bother for potentially manipulating the market to gain from the increase in Twitter's stock price as well. There's also the thing that even though the bots accounts are small they are responsible for a huge amount of interactions on the site. Lose them and twitter might actually become devoid of a lot of the day to day anger it encourages.Sometimes here. Sometimes Lurk. Occasionally writes a bad opinion then deletes it before posting.. -
Nah, there's a lot of horrible comments coming from regular dickheads on twitter.
One of the heads of the Irish medical has announced his decision to step down and its thought the awful (really awful) comments directed at him constantly through social media played its part. It's easy to say you can ignore it, but I think that becomes very hard if you also need to interact through social media for your work.
I know a bad online review for the businesss can make me feel awful even if its among a run of excellent reviews. I would not fancy having barrages of ugly tweets aimed at me 24/7SFV - reddave360 -
Of course Elon Musk put the Twitter deal on hold after yesterday.
Why yesterday?
Musk used Tesla stock as collateral to purchase Twitter shares.
So long as Tesla stock remained above $740, he didn't have to dig into his cash.

It did in fact pick up in after market and pre market this morning, and is currently at 767 after a high of 783, but since the Twitter announcement the trend has been big drops, bit of recovery, big drops rinse and repeat.

So, after deactivating several times, each time being for a longer period of time, last night I re-activated my Facebook account and, after 5 minutes, realised that place truly is no longer for me. The last straw was taking a look at my local Tory MP's page and seeing people who live in my village thanking him for the great impact he's had in the last two years. I wanted to respond, asking what impact that was exactly, but.... I'm too dispirited to waste my time anymore.
I've finally gone all in for a full deletion of the account.

Dont think they ever fully delete the account. i closed off my personal accouint years back, just kept one for work. A few months ago when logging in, it gave me the option to restart the personal account. So they must have the data still in place. Bastards.SFV - reddave360
