They have mentioned that everyone who is playing the game will be on the same server. Whether this is a good or bad thing for keeping a convoy together remains to be seen.

Not sure about that, they said it’ll work similarly to an MMO game, so it sounds like there’s precedent.

To be fair to him, he did say “kind of on one server, MMO style”, or something to that effect. It was also a question that came from the live chat which he wasn’t expecting and he said that he hadn’t prepared an answer for it.

Guess as it’s twice as much work but like the idea. That said, there’s a host of mechanical tuning options and assists you can turn off allowing a more customised handling model.

Sound like a beginner here (which if I think about then I am) but what’s the difference between the three styles Escape mentions? What would the player notice in the differences between track, motorsport and arcade physics? I kinda just about get arcade but between track and motorsport? Plz enlighten.

Yeah, it's two styles. By console standards for realworld racers, I really like Forza 7 (my favourite non-PC physics after Gran Turismo), but find most of its tracks dull. Whereas Horizon 4 frustrates me, because I haven't put in enough time to get good through my dislike of its physics, but it has a much nicer world.

Test Drive Unlimited was so nearly amazing, with bike noises that still haven't been bettered, but its handling was one of the biggest disappointments of its gen. And Need for Speed: Porsche 2000 was a great little game in every way, but then The Fast and the Furious happened.

Forza 7's much worse with a pad, same as GT5+, because they all enforce too much steering compensation.
