For the record, I've counted things like the original Resi 3 and Resi 3 from a couple of years back as two games, but Wind Waker and Wind Waker HD only count as one. I'm absolutely gash at sticking with games to the end. Even when enjoying them, I'll end up drifting away. Elden Ring is the latest example.

I’ve been keeping a list since 2017. But 8 and 16 bit days are a blur. I’ve replayed ones from that time and I’ve got no recollection of how far I got originally. There’s ones I forgot I ever had until one day I see them pop up somewhere and it all comes flooding back.

I completed championship manager. I got so good at it they offered me a role in the England set-up. I took Woking from the conference to the champions league in 6 seasons, that kind of stuff doesnt go unnoticed.

Back is secondary school - when dinosaurs roamed the Earth - I decided to see if I could write down every game I'd completed. Since then I've just been adding to the list.

I genuinely forgot about BotW. That means Ys IX was my 200th game, not Turnip Boy. I did play FFVII back on the original PlayStation, but I never got past the first disc - I always got lost and couldn't figure out what I was meant to be doing. It's still on my list of "games to go back to one day", along with Metroid Prime 2. (I don't write that one down, it's just in my head, fwiw.)

I hang my head in shame. I tried Borderlands 2, but I realised pretty quickly you needed to play it online with teammates. This was years after the game had launched, so I decided to knock it on the head.

I think that came out while I was still enjoying the first with forum folk. I was at uni at the time and couldn't justify the money. See also: Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Ultimate.
