If you could legislate, what laws would you make?

I would:
Ban free trials that require you to sign up with a recurring payment method.
Ban greyhound racing and horse racing. It's cruel on the animals and there's plenty of human sports to bet on, who are willing participants. Decriminalise cannabis because it's less damaging than alcohol which is somehow legal. -

I'd ban things that pretend they aren't having when they are. Like text-based competitions on the radio ("send WIN to 80808" shite).

3. People who leave the plastic on newly bought electrical devices
4. People who open a container with a lid and a foil/paper seal and leave the half peeled seal on the tub. -

I'd ban able-bodied office workers from taking lifts at their place of work.

There are silly and serious answers to this, but the tone set is silly so I'll mainly stick with that. I'll also note that banning greyhound racing is a Monster Raving Loony Party policy, and thus is probably the most sensible idea we'll get.
I'd introduce the death penalty for people who go to a gig, but spend most of the time facing away from the stage talking to their friends. The friends they were talking too would not be subject to this, but would instead face life imprisonment.
Encores would be prohibited, unless the band are able to walk around the back of the stage to instantly return and finish the set.
All vapes must resemble a phallus.
Ticketmaster would be broken up, and all CEO's would be sentenced to having to use a facsimile of their website for any purchase they make for the remainder of their life.
Westminster elections would be replaced by a more sensible system, like strange women lying in ponds distributing swords. -

I wouldn't be surprised if vaping is worse than tobacco for selected illnesses. There is a unique cough it gives me after minimal usage that is much more annoying and persistent than anything tobacco has thrown my way.

My sister does it. I don’t get the logic. Do you think it keeps it in a more pristine condition? I suppose the plastic underneath the peeling shit looking film is in good nick for when you sell your 10 year old TV and get an extra 50p added to the sale price.

Having gone to the faff of trimming a KFC logo into my pubes earlier, I'd immediately get all the top scientists onto developimg a pill or serum we can pop that would trim ya jewels into a shape of your choosing, without physically doing it. Being rotund I have to lift and slide the gunt to judge, and always end up with a random Letchkov-style thicket.
It'd be so much easier and should really be a top priority.
