The trailer wasn't worthy of the hype but i'm still virgin extreme pants around the ankles excited about this.

Serious though I really liked the 80 hours or so I put into GTA. Admittedly about 25 of those were the golf minigame, but I will give this a square go.

Looks incredible, so many little details. Animal interactions and lighting in particular. The world looks glorious.
That's what happens when you've truckloads of money and spend years developing games.

Considering how incredible the scenery was in RDR on old gen I always figured this would push it further in that regard.
Fingers crossed they can some nifty stuff with the gameplay and story -

The thing about getting other people to do these things is that because it's video games, it's pretty easy to imagine other people doing a worse job.
Their games have a problem because people hated the difficulty spikes that stopped them finishing. They're now casual friendly games that are packed with bloat to stop everyone finishing them in a week. -

I think I'd like for them to condense their games. I enjoy the stories they tell for the most part but they're bogged down in the sheer length. I imagine there was a fair few people who didn't see the fantastic end to Red Dead Redemp1. They seem to get wrapped up in the scope side of things but I don't think it's that necessary. Give me a world that's a 3rd of the size and a story to match and I think I'd still have a great time.
