i had a look at the option file import thing. i found a link via eurogamer, that updated the premier league badges and strips, that was fairly straight forward. didn't have championship stuff though and left a bit of faffing to rebrand the tournaments.
so then i delved into the more murky world of pes fan sites and links that open other links to random file sharing services...but that just led to the pain of a dozen web sites telling me i couldn't close the page cos of a virus infection, send money etc....so i gave up.
but basically in terms of just importing the team badges and strips, the process was fairly simple (if/when you have the files). copy to memory stick, put stick in PS4, go to the import images option in the edit menu, select the memory stick and select all on the files and away it goes. I'm guessing it will get more fiddly if you pull in actual option files and some of the other tweaks that people seem to include."Like i said, context is missing."

Harsh business this BaL.
Just played almost a whole season, was 2nd in the PL with 5 games left, and in the semis of the Europa League after thrashing Spurs in the quarters. Then I get an injury which knocks me out the rest of the season.
We still clung on to 2nd but lost the semi-final. I could take the harsh realism of it better if it weren't for the fact I'd had to play 90 mins of every game and every international, even when winning by miles. Where's the realism there? No wonder I got injured. -
Downloading Fifa 17 now on EA Access. I'm fucking terrible at kickmans. -

I have never managed to get good at a kickman.
All the FIFA games I tried would be too easy one setting then infuriating the next setting up. -
I last played Fifa 12 on the second easiest setting and drew more than I won. There's too many variables going on.

I spend most of the time trying to select the player I am looking at on screen but not doing the input correctly.

In a shock move, Konami have announced there will be a new PES this year.
Apparently they've improved stuff to make it the best one ever.
Release date is 14th September.
What might actually be interesting is that they've said that the PC version will be "to the standard of the leading console iterations", rather than a strange last gen ish hybrid."Like i said, context is missing."

I decided to give pes 2017 another bash last night on master league.
All i can say is 'fuck you pes!'
The only reason i didn't break something in frustration was because i couldn't decide between snapping the joypad, throwing the ps4 out the window or sticking my foot through the tv."Like i said, context is missing."

I'm probably going to get it, despite it playing a worse game than PES. Or wait until next year in the hope that Konami release a proper PES on the Switcheroo.

The thought of pinging in r-one'ers on the train with Gav 14 for Rangers is enough for me.
Mind you, ended up playing a pes from 2010 I think on a PS3 I was testing in work. Aye it looks terrible but it still plays a great wee game. Like Paul, I'd probably go for a pes on the Switch as well.

2010 was gash as fuck, it's only the last few which are any cop.
2018 is supposed to have a new engine, where if a nippy player gets in behind a lumbering CB that's it, he's gone. No more shady tractor beam antics from the AI players ruining your delicate chipped through balls/Wimbledon style hoofed clearances. Really should try the beta and find out if it's bullshit or not. -
