I find it are to believe that you couldn't find a publisher to back a new Elite. Â Does this telly need to be another bloody kickstarter?

Yeah uh Frontier aren't remotely insolvent/unconnected. Still, would play probably. -
By the looks of the Kickstarter page you'll be playing a version of Elite with star systems called Kevinjonesia and Doulassmithus. Â Away and shite.

Send messageRaising the money is only some of it. There's retaining full control, keeping all the profit. That's before you look at cuddly feely stuff like involving backers in development decisions.
Even at a relatively modest $2m I'm not convinced many publishers would hand over the cash for a PC only space sim. -
