I'm enjoying it. Don't think I've ever played a game with so many nooks and crannies. It's Death's Door wearing Tommy Cooper's hat so far, which is a good mix.

The demo was great but gave me deaths door vibes which is shit. -

Send messageEnjoyed the first half hour or so, until I started dying. Was hoping for some gentle exploration and puzzling, I don’t think my low skill, button mashing style will work. -

As for the game, it’s basically Zelda meets Souls meets Fez, like all the reviews said. I remember interviewing the devs and they weren’t shy about their influences.
I’ve taken down two bosses and I am now totally baffled as to where to go. I clearly need an item of sorts but I am not sure where it might be. -

i was liking it until a difficulty spike and now cba with it anymore so back to Elden Ring!

If like Pug or Birdorf you get whomped by a nails boss and don't fancy the aggro, the accessibility menu lets you turn on No Fail mode and Endless Stamina. -

Love a Mootsy Mode but not for something as good as this. First proper boss was a wake up call though, I died lots.

It's the same area but some routes were blocked in the demo iirc.
I have covid now so I'm planning to hit this hard. -
Same area, but different. Stuff has been moved around, various bits changed up.

I've played the first ten minutes or so of this. Given that the second enemy type you encounter killed me I'm guessing I'll be using those accessibility options at some point if I want to see much of the game. Good start though. No idea WTF is going on.

Can't wait to get back on this later. I'm at the same place Tempy was further up the page and I'm similarly clueless. Had a quick go just to double check something earlier but nope.
