The Under Defeat HD DLC helicopter is fucking brilliant. It changes things up because it doesn't have an Option. The helicopter fires the extra weapons, instead.

I can't see it happening, Davie. Rising Star Games would be the only ones brave enough to take a punt on it and they have Cave sewn up, already. G-rev aren't as 'high profile'. I paid £56 and spent a further tenner on a 1000-yen card to buy the 600-yen DLC update. Under Defeat's a classic and to have it 16:9HD for future play is worth it, for me. Well, the choice is limited for decent shooters on PS3. I only bought it on PS3 as it's region locked on Xbox.
It's also a limited run, so once it's gone it's gone and it'll always hold its value on eBay etc.
Muchi Muchi Pork and Pink Sweets has already climbed by about £25 in value.

There's a Cave sale on DLC in celebration of a Jap festival. New year, I think. Includes DLC for iOS. I think that only means Deathsmiles in app purchases and some stuff for DDP Blissful Death. Will check the latter out.

Not sure about the Xbox version of Mamoru Kun, but the PS3 one's going cheap soon on Play Asia. They're pimping a platinum type thing for £32.

Been playing all my Cave shooters in past few days. Still not unlocked all modes on Mushi Futari. Played more Mushi 1, stage 3 is all sorts of awesome. Looking forward to Mushi HD on 360 and seeing what arranged mode will hold.Â

I do love a good shooter but the levels nowadays just seem so, well, short. I'm guessing its to allow people a better opportunity to amass a high score but I would rather more game. Get on it devs!

Yeah Sine Mora is like a visual update of the oldschool style shooter, rather than the Cave or Treasure 'Bullet Hell' style. Try the Omega 5 demo on XBLA, too.
