The Edge guys have finally piped up on the blurum, turns out an update will be out in a week.
Ive already moved alll my things here though, not sure I wanna go back to blurum now. Even the promised functionality of before will make it less functional than here.

Thing about this place is that we/Petey have full control over it. It rather feels as though we've outgrown what Edge has become and we'd be a community with or without Edge. Not to denigrate it, it's a fine publication and I look back with fondness, but we're not bound to it. The mass of activity in here seems like proof of that. It's the people I love, not Edge.

We've been crying out for fixes for a year, and only now we're jumping ship is it seen as something they need to get done.

That is my issue too Sas, suddenly something needs to be done.
I already prefer it here, once the name is sorted there are only really a few tweaks to do. Main one being the work block people are getting.

Not wrong; I think it shows he does give a shite, but I also think he
probably doesn't have much news to give us and turning up daily to say
"I have no news" probably wouldn't be much use. It is a crisis; we're
their community and we're moving out. He's only the messenger and the
fact that he bothers to come on at all, and then to address us so
politely, is something I'm grateful for. It's not his or the others fault, it really isn't. They're likely as shitty about it as the rest of us but have to be more diplomatic about it.

Can't say I kept up with the community much on the 'other' site but I'm quite happy to see most of you finally realised the place was a farce and have gathered elsewhere for discussion on our favourite pass-time. This has been a nice little reunion so far, the kind where we all meet up again after ten years and relive old glories. Part of the jovial friendly atmosphere from the old place has been re-captured. We'll see if it works out long-term, but I'm enjoying this afternoon at least.
