Usually that's the case but not with this one I think. It's very unusual to get sacked and to not go quietly. You don't normally get any of this. National security information is normally out of bounds of the normal political game playing. The Huawei thing seems like a terrible decision anyway so I'm glad it leaked. You'd have thought he wouldn't go so strong on the denials if he was guilty. But then that might be exactly what he wants everyone to think. Which is the sort of bullshit the press should ignore, and even report in full, but this is the dark timeline and we know that won’t happen.
