There are a couple of things I didn't feel were addressed very well but I haven't seen Apocalypse and don't know if that comes into play? It's 2029 so how old is Professor X supposed to be?!

X's powers going on the fritz was quite sad actually, and seeing what he's become is pretty heartbreaking, especially if you've ever seen it happen to a grandparent or parent.

Thought the cgi new wolverine was pretty cool and well done. Obviously must be the last movie for Jackman and Stewart considering what happened... Which felt right somehow. Shame how X dies though, he deserved better!

I see. Yeah I agree, it didn't have the impact it should've, on the audience or wolverine. He had so much fighting left to do outside the farm it just washed over. Sure he had a moment when burying him but I didn't feel it was enough.

Wolverines death was a bit sudden to, I felt, but maybe that was the point - he spent so long waiting for death then it was over in a flash.

The kids were a bit annoying - why didn't they all stand their ground and use their powers earlier? Felt like they were either very powerful or not at all.

Many, many eye rolls:
1. Oh here's a vile of heath serum - think maybe that will be important later? 
2. Oh here's an adamantium bullet - think maybe that will be important later? 
And while we're on about it - IF I grant you that an adamantium bullet would penetrate an adamantium skull (and I do not) why would an adamantium bullet kill evil Wolverine anyway? Old Man Logan, fair enough I guess - they've established at least that he can't heal like before. But Evil-logan would just regenerate wouldn't he? He got shot through the eye socket earlier in the film - presumably getting him in the brain, but he was alright (admittedly sped up by serum, but on the mend anyway). 
3. Why are they running? Wolverine and Laura could easily have taken all of them. Baddies had no real threat.
4. Oh look - the kids have shaved his beard so he looks like Wolverine again just in time for the finale!
5. Evil Logan. So many issues with this (apart from the idea of clones just being lazy and lame). The rules about the kids being the clones of mutants is spelt out clearly - there are surrogates involved, there's the raising and training of the kids etc. They go to great lengths to show you all this. The entire fucking plot revolves around this. Then from absolutely nowhere out pops a fully grown Wolverine clone ready to go. You can't just do random shit because you think it's cool! Even comic book movies have to make sense ffs - there's got to be some sort of internal logic!
5. Why the hell did Laura speak Spanish and speak english in a Spanish accent when none of the other kids did? Seriously did nobody actually read the fucking script?
6. Not enough smurfs.
