Well I appear to be free tonight, so I guess we can have an early return to strimming, of sorts!
I'll mainly be doing Hearthstone because I haven't touched the latest expansion yet since it dropped the other week, so we can open some packs, build some shitty decks and then go get crushed on the ladder.
Mayber Isaac, maybe Death Road near the end, mayber.
You know the drill, assemble at 20:00 for gud tiems.
I didn't I'm afraid I've been slacking on twitchmonstering. My connection is terrible anyway, Rouj, can we play something coop instead so we can suffer it together? What's a Pacey?
To be fair, I gave SFV more than enough time. Capcom have had me for both versions and 2 lots of season passes. Now S2 is on the way not even a year after release and they want everyone to pony up some more cash for the new characters. It is a fucking joke that all they can say is 'omg here is some balancing and maybe the delay goes back to 4F', I mean they aren't going to fix the netcode unless we are super lucky, and the whole time this clown fiesta is going on they want people to get hype for MvC Infinite? Fuck the fuck off mateys, Namco are doing a better job with Capcom's IP at this point, they actually had the guy who voices Akuma doing his thing at the Tekken Global GFs the other day.
"Let me tell you, when yung Rouj had his Senna and Mansell Scalextric, Frank was the goddamn Professor X of F1."
I used the loophole to get the DLC characters. I left enough FM ready for Urien, but they sent me a warning and zeroed my FM just before he launched, so I had to grind for him. But I kept the other five DLC characters and all of the regular colours for the rest.
What gets me is that they took Lab Zero's PS3 driver, but not their netcode. Idiots. I think it's unsaveable because it's built for visual impact at the cost of the ability to recognise a lot of moves in time to react properly. As I keep banging on about, they'd need to reanimate it from the ground up to please me. Input delay's only half that story.
And anyway, they're nerfing instead of buffing, when everyone's a different shade of shit right now. The SF characters were, in isolation, all at their strongest in IV. Ibuki has more moves and options in IV than she does in 3S, but the engine's more limiting so she's weaker. Now, if you put IV's versions into Strike's engine...
I think it's a real shame that Omega didn't become the standard in 2015.
Alright dudes, from 20:00 I will be playing some Subnautica, which if you don't know is like No Man's Sky but underwater.
I literally booted the game up for a couple of minutes to test everything was working and that was it, so you can watch me flailing around getting killed by Stingrays a la ya boi Steve Irwin for your entertainment or something.
