Heh. There were a few points where I thought 'It just looks like I'm copying all of Crayon's answers' but in terms of noms, there seems to be a lot of certainties. Winners another matter of course.

Best supporting actress was indeed tough. I think Arquette is a lock and the rest all seem to be on a similar level. Swinton was impressive in Snowpiercer but I suspect will be overlooked. Stone and Russo were good but didn't do quite enough for me, then it was Knightley or Chastain for the last spot.

Yeah I noticed BAFTA have Carell in supporting rather than lead. Could be argued both ways I suppose. I'd guess Ralph Fiennes for the fifth spot if Carell is nommed in supporting.

opps, completely missed that, although I haven't seen Foxcatcher yet so it isn't properly on my radar (neither is Selma for that matter, which I clearly should have put in for best film).

hmm, only 8 best film nominations this year - I don't really get why they don't just go for the full 10.

I know the studio campaigned for him as lead but I think it's down to the Academy which category he's nominated in. Kate Winslet campaigned for supporting for The Reader but ended up being nominated in lead.

Yup, same. It's been picking up a lot of recognition though which is why I went for it in a few categories.
