You can award creators medals. The more medals they acrue the more levels they can upload. You can also favourite creators that you like.You can also edit other people's levels but only for personal use.

Nobody has shown that. But there are item cross over.
Also pretty certain it's not possible. -

Would be cool to don the World Cape in OG Mario levels or make a Mario 3 level and put in the Mario World Giant Gate finish in instead of the

Mario is as much about feel as it is about the levels. The idea of wall jumping with smb Mario makes me shudder or having tight Mario play in floaty world. The cues indicate feel and a mash up is likely to confuse.

Yeah, you have to design the levels according to Marios abilities for each iteration.

That's it. If you pick the SMB theme you won't have wall jumps, butt slide etc. Should be fine. There do seem to be some changes to deal with enemies and scenarios - saw the idea of a cap in that World Final video for example - but I guess that is a property of the enemy being added to the level so you could build old-school classic levels if you want to.Holding the wrong end of the stick since 2009. -

It brought the thrill of proper old school Mario 2D level discovery right back. Fucking brilliant.

Liked the joke almost-but-not-quite insta-death rooms. The video show that there are least a couple of bowser types to drop in on a level. Probably just set pieces with little variety but then they always have been. The levels have always been the star - not the boss fights.Holding the wrong end of the stick since 2009.

But not in the same way a real boss works.
Like you can have bowser in but the end is the same as a normal level and you just avoid bowser.
I don't think you'll be able to build the Mario 3 finale for example.

It's so great. The format makes the thing more exciting than a mere level reveal.
