Andy wrote:Right, in the interests of science, I’ve been through the release dates for Switch games in the UK.
The overwhelming majority were released on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. A not insignificant number were released on Mondays. A smaller number were released on Wednesdays. Three were released on Saturdays.
The original question was in relation to the offers. Unfortunately, unlike the PlayStation Store, the eShop doesn’t show when a sale price started. It does show when they end, though. Of the current offers, most end on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but there are also offers ending on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and, in one case, a Sunday.
So, while eShop updates may be larger on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Fridays are also a big day and, as Gav and I thought, they can and do happen on pretty much any day of the week.
