Lebron XIs are looking as solid a pro b-ball shoe as I've seen in years, in other sportshoe news. If they pop out an all-black, which I'm sure they will, amma cop dem.
Brooks do you have a collection? Do you have any flicks?
He could've just said they came from another planet but seems keen to convince people with his bullshit pseudoscience that he knows stuff. I wouldn't trust him with my lunch. - SG
I had a collection of 50+ pairs (no snaps, really should've taken some); they were all worn to fuck or sold on to the more deserving.
These days, I'm less susceptible to footwear Pokemonism - a picture will do in most cases. I've maybe 10 pairs total, all black, and only three pairs would count as sneakers. I'll never lose interest in the field generally but owning so much of it is just bloody impractical.

Some really nice designs in the last two years. Also nike id doing some shiny metallic looking things which had promise

I still have and would regularly rock my Italian leather badass pair of SCs but I need to repair the fucking foam somehow. Thinking a thin leather veneer would hold things together pretty handsomely and only improve the aesthetic.
Meanwhile I'm officially on the NB bandwagon now, snagged a pair of:
I owned no nubuck creps and now I do.
Making sense of NB's numbering system is a pain, and then making sense of what model number has the better last. SL1 is regular/narrow, SL2 is wide. The 996s (above) are SL1 for instance.
So i really need some new trainers. My old pair's fucked and i'm taking on plenty water whenever i venture out the house and it's wet.
I know nothing about buying trainers. On the couple of occasions i've done it last i think i spent 40-60 euros and i wore them out within 4-6 weeks. I twist a lot on the front of my feet when dancing so this often results in my big toe wearing through the bottom and touching the ground. Totally unacceptable.
My last pair of trainers were hand-downs from my little bro. They're Nike. I don't know what specific make by they've lasted me 10 months so i'm rather happy with that. I'd like my next pair to last as long again.
Are big brand trainers like Nike generally more durable? Which makes are best?
Maybe these are stupid questions. I really don't know what to buy or even where to go. I can't buy from the internet as my feet are stupid wide and i'll need to wear them a bit first.
