Gonna have to re-spec for this. Biggest LMG in the game might come in handy.
Auto shotgun with drum mag is tempting, but you might never get close enough for it to be effective.
Probably stick with me trusty assault rifle/grenade launcher combo as a primary.
Dilemmas!
I'm going to have to watch Predator this weekend. I've clearly missed the part where it turns into a TRANSPORTING CHEATING BASTARD BULLET SPONGE.

It can be done, and I think we came damn close on a number of occasions. Watched a video of a guy doing it solo, and it was with no different tactics to ours.
Stayed on for another hour solo last night and again came close.
You can spawn a squad of rebels to help as canon fodder before you enter the final circle, which helps a bit. They don't do much shooting, but they do divert his fire.
Tried spawning a chopper. Cunt blew it out the sky with one shot as I hovered over the area.
If it's the last thing I do, I WILL KILL THAT RAT FACED BASTARD!
Been thinking about where we're struggling, and picking up downed team mates is the biggest concern. We need to get ourselves organised and make sure to cover the fella while he's picking Webbins up again. And why the fuck aren't we using smoke grenades or those distraction things? Does smoke even block thermal vision?
Not sure they'd work. He can kill you in the later stages with his shurikens without line of sight, and they travel in an arc. Cunt did me in cover with one last night. Saw it coming, couldn't avoid it. He's a cunt.
The teleporting thing is cheap, but I was thinking about it and I can kind of understand what they were going for.
The jungle isn't as dense with foliage as a proper jungle, so if he did just run and jump he'd be in plain sight the whole time and you could track him. He's fairly easy to see even cloaked, especially with NVG. They're going for the whole 'where the fuck did he go' vibe. It's jarring though.
The lures didn't work for me last night, ugly cunt still concentrates on those going for revives. I get the respawning, for the reasons Franny said, but disappearing in front of you to reappear a hundred feet away a split second later is bollocks, super apeshit alien hunter cunt or not.

From solo play last night, I reckon if you track him running he will ultimately disappear then respawn in a completely different direction to that which he was running. Probably way off behind you.
That seems far easier solo. His aim seems poor against AI, the player is the only one who does damage to the fucker and forces a reposition, the AI can pick the player up without being insta-killed by the fucker. Piece of piss.
I think the difficulty ramps up depending on how many real people there are in your squad. That guy's solo run with the AI squad mates mirrors my experience last night. Seemed to be able to do more damage to him on my own, whereas when there's four of you he just goes apeshit and bums you all in the gob.
