Former was "gamesworld" I think, I remember bright yellow bags from them. They chipped my Dreamcast there, and I gave them so much money during my Pokémon Trading Card days as a 1st year from Hammy Grammar. Great wee place. Dunno what happened to them though. After being a Game for a while (that I actually temped in the Wii Launch Xmas) it's now a Carphone Warehouse. Latter is Games Centre but I'm sure they never had a Glasgow branch. Ayr, Killie and Irvine I'm sure. Another fantastic indie. Still in Hamilton! Guys that run the business are lovely dudes.

I've been there a bunch of times for coffee. Pretty cool and I've enjoyed playing the pinball tables. However last time I was in there was some sort of Maid meet-up going on and fuck me if it didn't make me get out of there pronto. Chubby Glaswegian girls dressed up in creepy Japanese maid costumes? No thanks. They were taking endless selfies and I just knew I'd end up in the back of one and on some Facebook page where someone I knew would stumble across it and be like "oh look there's Scout, I never knew he was into the whole Maid scene thing. Better rip the cunt out of him next time I see him."SpaceGazelle wrote:Anyone been to Megabytes? It's on Howard St near Trongate.
