Anyway, I've seen Mitro's goal by the way. You'll not see worse defending all season, it was a chance even Benteke would gobble up, but he still needed two bites of the cherry. It's not often a striker can display exactly how inadequate they are while scoring a goal, but he's somehow managed it there.
Blimey. Even if none of the officials saw the ball hitting the net (which is staggering enough in itself), surely they're capable of reading between the lines and working it out. The reactions of the players/crown etc. are unmistakable, especially the defenders. Like, why would they look so dejected if the ball was still in play?!
Too tired. Spoken to Gav online, but this past week at work has been wild. Obv delighted with result but don't have the energy to do the usual. Will say it was probably deserved given 2x crossbar hits but whatever, it's three points.
Always hard to take but I feel it was clearly "played on thu at home against some part-time jobbers FC" vs "played on thu in Russia with 9 men FC". A game too far for tired legs.
Other than the goal, from open play, they didn't offer much. Maybe our subs weren't timed properly. We sat too deep at times. But we were better in the 2nd half.
Welcoming the break, and confident we can beat them at home. Lick our wounds, keep the heid, and move on.
W/e dude. I'm too fucking not giving a fuck to care but both you and I know that Celtic dominated that match. That's me out because I want a nap .
From open play is a hell of a qualifier.
