Playing Windows games on Mac is set to get a lot easier.

tl;dr Apple have done the same trick for macOS that Valve did for Linux.

Yep watched a video about the DX12 compatibility later in Rosetta 2 running Medium at about 30fps with no optimisation. That’s just a test for developers to see how optimised they can get their games. If it’s quick and easy it makes the Mac more compelling, especially laptop gaming without fans going all the time and better battery life.

Pretty sure if you download the film then run it through Handbrake it should just be a normal mp4.

It was possible, back in the day, to remove the DRM "tags" from music so you could use the stuff you'd bought on all your devices (or ~~pirate it~~ make copies without permission). It might be possible to do it these days with some finagling, but you'd have to do some research.

But as others have said, right now? No. Apple will send you a cat turd in the post.

I use it mainly for MKV files which can be fairly common on the high seas but PlayStation doesn’t like them.

Anyone else finding that each time they connect their headphones to their iPhone, the volume level gets reset? It used to remember what volume I had per app (quite high for podcasts, a bit lower for music, etc.). But now I have to manually ramp up the volume to something audible each time I reconnect my earbuds.

Is this something Apple added in an update to stop you accidentally deafening yourself? If so, is there an option to turn it off? If not, why not? Which MP should I write to? And where do babies come from anyway?

This weekend is probably the last hurrah for the iPhone Mini. It’s expected to be discontinued after the Apple event next Tuesday.

That being said, I went down the Apple Store this afternoon and bought me an iPhone 13 Mini, to replace my 12 Mini in case the Apple sages are correct and the range goes tits up next week with the announcement of the 15 series.
