I think I'm around this Friday. I know I can just use someone else's car but if I have a stock equivalent class car, will that be enough or do I need to pimp it out to the highest spec in the bracket?
So keep it in class but try to get it to the highest level. Okay, I'll have to copy the leader for now but will try to get at least something unlocked myself.
A very quick way to get things done is via "auto-upgrade" in the Garage section of the festival hub/your home. You just choose a class and it auto-baskets the parts needed to get it to the top. You miss out on the more granular aspects of 'tuning' it but it's very quick and effective to get competitive with a car you like the feel of.
I spent all my money on making my Evo 8 go fast with the biggest tires and I forgot about the brakes. Might try and score some cash to get better brakes on it.
Also, do I need to buy another one so I can have one for each season? Or at least a snow, wet, and normal one.
I don’t think anyone else bothers, but it might be good? To be honest, you quickly end up with so many cars that you should always have options.
Snow tyres in this are, IIRC, just off-road tyres in winter. A set of those on a rally car should do you.
Having said that, the best rally car in the game (IMO) doesn’t use off-road tyres at all and it’s still one of the grippiest rally cars in the game, whatever surface you’re on.
Friday night, it’s coming closer
Felines are now licking my body
Won't you help me
Feels like they’re nipping away
It's hard to breath
And my chest is a-heaving
Lord, have mercy
Burning the hole where I play
retroking1981: Fuck this place I'm off to the pub.
I’m waiting to hear from a mate as to what he’s up to tonight. I may be able to tempt him along to this if it’s happening and only using the base game. Or I may not. Or he may decide to be miserable alone in which case it will be just me.
