Tidal has sneakily gone away from mentioning mqa as much, because it appears its a bit dodge, replaced with max/flac settings. It's good, and not as loud across the board as YouTube music. Yt music has some settings these days now, but I haven't done any testing.
My yt music account is basically my daughters now and tidal is mine.
My daughter sent that through to me yesterday with much excitement.
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sold on the faux Beach Boys jangle - but it's good to have new stuff, and looking forward to seeing what else they've come up with...
