Another passable cover, this time Comfortably Numb.
Although a tad unnecessary, still a song worth refreshing from time to time, and hey I'm a sucker for decent falsetto and Bee Gees-style harmonising.
This one is tough. Not that many of the songs are all-time greats, but just that they’re good is a nice refreshing change from the past few comps.
Kelis walks it on disc one, but disc two? Damn.
Fountains of Wayne vs Franz Ferdinand is too close to call. But it’s OKAY. None of them get my vote anyway because completely irrationally I’m voting for Joss Stone and her smoky White Stripes cover. Heart not head, this time around. That record does something to my hindbrain.
