Hell yeah, it is. I’m finally getting through watching Rip It Up on the iPlayer, and just a clip of that video stuck the song in my head for days.
My favourite at the time was Last Train to Trancentral, but I’m fully aware they were really just making the same song over and over again – and on that basis the GOAT has to be the one featuring Tammy Wynette because her presence elevates the whole conceit.
