First time in days that I didn't wake up to heavy wind warnings, so hopefully that's the end of the strong winds, and the firefighters have a better chance at getting it all under control.
Woke up, went to the toilet. Thought it's awfully bright outside (frosted windows) and low and behold it's snowed. There wasn't a single drop of it when I went to bed at 1am.
Tried to get home to meet family. Half way 25 mike tailbacks due to a stuck trailer that jackknifed. Tried country lanes, snow was treacherous. Ended up back at the GF's

Proper brass monkeys this morning, aye. I actually wore gloves to walk the dog, but it started to warm up a bit after sunrise. Cooper bloody loves frosted/frozen grass though, so his turbonutter excitement on reaching the Botanics makes it worth braving the cold.
