I was thinking of getting a few of them - what did you get and how have you set them up? I'm not sure I really understand how they work!tigerswiftly wrote:These powerline adapter things are amazing. Bloody witchcraft.
You pretty much just plug them in. There is also a pair button that you can hit on both to secure the connection and if you are using one to boost a wifi signal, some come with clone buttons for copying the settings from your router as well. That's pretty much it. The only thing to be aware of is that they have to be on one ring main, so if by any chance you have two in your house, that could cause problems. Beyond that, they really are witchcraft.Gremill wrote:I was thinking of getting a few of them - what did you get and how have you set them up?
