I have never said trollolol so don’t know how I’ll approach pronouncing it but I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I've killed many a cockroach. That black gooey substance that splats out of them when the slipper lands is not something I'd want to ingest.
Compare to the succulent meatiness of a prawn and it's not a hard choice.

I'm always tempted to say words that can be divided like that wrong - the-rapist, men-swear etc. Just for my own sorry amusement. Catastrophe is now permanently cat-ass-trophy in my head.WorKid wrote:Chinaworld innit. I call it toys rus. They call it that in France as they don’t pick up on the foreign language abbreviation pun thing. Intentionally mispronouncing it became a running ‘joke’ in my family. Although my infant daughter then started picking it up and there was no changing her mind. Just as well it went to the wall before she starts school really.JonB wrote:I remember having a conversation with a friend many years ago who refused to acknolwedge that Toys R Us was pronounced Toys Are Us and insisted it was Toys Rus instead. What the fuck he thought Toys Rus meant I've still no idea.
