Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
I seem to have lost my wallet between work and the house. Searched everywhere that I was all day and no sign. Had it for nearly 20 years so it's not something I lose regularly. Got a feeling it fell out a pocket and someone helped themself. Thankfully I don't carry cash but it's such a pain in the arse replacing cards/driving license etc.
If you haven't watched it yet, the history of Scottish pop on BBC iPlayer is an essential 3 parter. Even more essential is a trip to Edinburgh to see Rip It Up at the National Museum. We spent 2 hours going round it, and remembering all sorts of gems - I'm currently on a Strawberry Switchblade obsession. Goes all the way up to 2018, so everyone catered for - they even go back to Lonnie Donegan so G can be happy. Some shit below - we weren't officially allowed to take pictures so this was all I could sneak, but I would have killed to be in front of the Chemikal Underground display.
More importantly, I suspect I am in one of the pictures. Theres a massive picture (along with the classic Espacio sign) of optimo outside in 2007, and I think that might be a Hollis in the queue.
It was easier to get pics at the newer stuff, otherwise it'd be Lulu and Nazareth (Nazareth are shite pass it on)
The midge ure Vienna coat
Franz Ferdinand stuff, not pictured the massive robots they made for their 2005 tour
Simon Neil's lyrics book (Biffy Clyro) opened at the page for Black Chandelier
Completely mind-blowing. Then when you go out, after the original art for Frightened Rabbit albums (genuinely sad for me and flora) they say the next exhibit will be called ROBOTS in January. What not to like.
