Most Wanted is a proper open world. It's like Paradise but with real cars and a few other improvements.

It's mostly a time trial game or with a single opponent (at least as far as I've seen). You can't collide with the other car so you can focus on the line.
It's lovely and smooth (at least on PC) and doesn't punish too hard to hitting a wall - which is something that really bugs me in games like this.
I've had a look on cdkeys and they only sell the PC version so full price it is.
