I've not done any painting in ages. I have some great figures from a boardgame to do as well.
The sculpts are so good I'd be a shame if the paint job wasn't totes amaze so I'm kind of reluctant to do them.
Highly recommend Vallejo paints. They come in dropper bottles so you only use what you need at the time, and don't need to worry about the pot drying out. Also heaps better value than GW ones.
Making yourself a wet palette is of course the next step, so your paints are easier to work with, and also stay wet longer.
I can’t be bothered with Vallejo simply because it means figuring out a whole other system range of paints, and then gambling on what they actually look like when ordering them online. GW have me by sheer convenience. I’m dubious on them being better too, as I know a lot of folk who say they’re mostly on a par with GW, with the typical paint issue of some coveting better than others, and others not covering at all.
I've done a ton of stuff recently as i've only had work on and no Uni. Won't spam the place up though as most of it is yet to be finished with minor adjustments here and there needed.
They are a T'au Kill Team, aye. Humanoids, but not humans, Ungulates maybe, given their weird goat-like feet.
Cheers! I need to fix the basing on them as it's not quite right just yet. I also picked up a bunch of pre-built battlesuits from a friend who was selling them on for less than 50% of their RRP, so I'm set for weeks now.
