I honestly dont get publishers. You a have a studio who are being backed by said publisher. The studio spends years polishing a product and the publisher decides to release it as the same time as every other game in the world. Do publishers not realise people plays games the year round? That it's not a sin to release a new game during the summer when the kids are off school and driving their parents mad?
I loved snes Aladdin, played it through over and over, loved the carpet levels. I never played the MD one; animation does look top, I'd suggest 3s for a similar high tier hand drawn animation title.
What would be good for that game and for until dawn was if they let you know which characters would be involved in the upcoming chapter (minus any suprises).
Missus doesnt do videogames but Until Dawn appealed to her and the movie night mode in Man of Medan could get her playing the ps4 again.
Great news, everyone!!! That most magical and perfect of digital boardgames, Armello, has a new expansion! You can now play as the characters of the Dragon Clan in your endless attempts to sneak, cheat, betray, and murder your way to the throne. Available on Steam now, other platforms to follow.
There's a lot of depth and complexity there, and it really does need some time dedicated to get a good grasp of things. I adore it, but with a single game lasting around 45 minutes I'll usually only play one per session these days. Solo is fun enough, with other people it becomes something else entirely.
I have been thoroughly schooled in deviousness by friends I didn't know had it in them.
It looks good and I want it, bit it doesn't look £26.99 levels of good. Big fan of the genre (and some recent additions to it) but fatigue sets in quickly so I'm saving myself for Streets of Rage.
