What's Clayton like with his jacket on? With ours, it feels like he's been lobotomised. Almost a different dog. I actually don't like putting it on because of it.
He is much better in the new jacket than his jumper.
He seems more subdued but I think that is because he still isn't too sure about going out for walks yet and associates the jacket with walks.
Have you tried putting the jacket on just before doing fun things, like being fed?
That would explain the difference between Clayton's jumper and jacket. The jumper fits snug around him but the jacket has some wiggle room and just has velcro down the chest.
I may have things the wrong way around in my head. Anyways, Temple Grandin is the woman I was thinking about. There's a pretty decent biopic about her with Claire Danes in the lead role.
Quite the weekend for our Quincy the cat. He suffers from megacolon... not the Transformer, but the inability to shit due to his colon lacking the muscular ability to pass the shit. Anyhoo, despite his regular lactulose chaser, Christmas has seen him really clog up and unfortunately necessitated a semi urgent visit to our local PDSA hospital for a business class colonic. 8 hours and £650 later I picked him up, looking a little stoned I noted. Checking the invoiced list of ingredients, the methadone and ketamine stood out as being particularly responsible for his refreshed state. Party animal our Quincy.

Cheers Cinty, he's back to his usual self today. Whining for food and attention, little bastard so he is.
