He aced 'temptation alley'. Went back and started to gobble the other goodies after his 4.5 second run - today's best for a Labrador! - went in the book.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
I've had to reluctantly concede that Bramble is too old to do the school pick up with me on week days. My daughter now attends a school nearer my house (just under a mile away), to be picked up at 3.15pm. Long story short with timings: I can't quite expect him to go as quickly as he'd need to, even though I though I'd have time to pop home and grab him first. That's been my plan for ages, but the full days start today and I'm not going to try it because it wouldn't be fair not to let him pause to sniff anything on the way. A bit sad about it. An extra 5 minutes and it would've worked out, plus the park is on the way home. Oh well.
Just had one of those odd moments where someone who is still a mutual friend of both me and my ex-wife posts photos of my old dog on Twitter. Always kicks me in the gut, but then I realise I’m actually so pleased to see the dog still alive, healthy and happy. Gotta remember what’s the really important thing there, eh?
I dunno if this is really appropriate, but fuck it. This is Riley and I miss her a lot.
(Riley’s the crossbreed at the front, not the greyhound.)
I've been getting the odd picture of Dougie in his new home, where he's part of a pack with a labradoodle and a black lab. It's a proper kick in the dick, but he's clearly far happier there, so I console myself with that.
Little witches cat Ludo, has been coming to the back door for the last 2 hours meowing at me but wouldn't come in.
Got skippy vibes and went searching the garden. Found Pip all curled up in his brothers cat house.
Tried to get him out with food but no luck, had to lift him and get scratched up. Looks like he has dislocated his back left leg, no signs of other trauma thank god, so probably hasn't been hit by a car or anything.
Stubborn bugger keeps trying to walk now, we have him inside and will be at vets first thing tomorrow morning.
Pip got x-rayed Saturday, fracture to his back left leg and a couple in his hips. Vets think he must of got hit by something.
How he managed to get home has kind of traumatised me, he would of had to have scaled a 6+ foot fence to get to where we found him, in that condition he must of really wanted to be home.
Had to leave him at vets Saturday, probably the hardest thing to do just giving him a stroke and telling him I would see him soon.
Vets called yesterday, he still hadn't eaten or been to toilet which we were all worried about but vet said he was in no pain due to the morphine they had him on.
So today we were expecting to go in and be told operations would be more expensive than we could possibly afford or that his quality of life would be compromised from now on.
However, senior vet reckons breaks can heal within a cast. Pip has gone to toilet and we can get him home this afternoon I have cried with happiness at work.
Ms Skade and daughter have been absolutely destroyed by this I don't think I'll ever be happier to clean out a litter tray than I will tonight.
Bob the cat is getting his nuts removed tomorrow also after successfully convincing the vet that they are large enough today.
Hope he stops pissing everywhere now.
