Needing to get Sonny to the vets tomorrow. Out in his walk today, which have been getting shorter and shorter, and he couldn't get up after a distance. Has been in his bed since 5pm, can't get up, and even if we help he flops back down.
We've tried homeopathic methods, wee drops in his water etc and they helped but this is worse.
It is honestly the last thing I need right now, but I am preparing for the worst. I don't know if we can just get some pain relief, or if that's it. Sigh. Someone please allay my fears even if it is just false.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
Good luck Sonny! Hopefully he just has a little upset of some kind. I know Charlie got low energy when she ate something gross and didn't go back to normal until she passed it about a week later.
Woken up by mum telling me all the Hamilton vets can't see him, but based on his problems, they said it's time. One got us an appointment with a vet in Baillieston to do it... So I had to say my goodbyes. I was too distraught to drive to Scott came and took him...
Baillieston vet said if it was his dog, going to sleep wouldn't be his plan. So he's on actual proper pain relief, and we'll see how he goes.
If anything guys just keep positive thoughts for him please. Thank you. I'm fucked.
Thanks folks. Thinking about it, I am confident we'll get months and years still. He's still full of life, wagging his tail, glint in his eyes, looking happy, he just has trouble standing. He's gonna pull through this, I know it.
I'm so exhausted with this and what happened at work yesterday. Thanks again guys.
Deacon has been on them for a couple of years, made a major difference. Just buy a big tub off Amazon. Everyone used to recommend it when he started getting arthritis. He can only have pain killers, can't have anti-inflammatories, so they make a big difference.
