He actually gets visibly younger when you cut his hair.
I think it’s nuts that our dog groomer reopened yesterday, but having seen how she’s working I’m now just in awe of her.
One dog at a time. Only her in the building. Drive up and put Cooper in the crate/kennel set up outside. Remove his lead, collar, and anything else. Get back in the car. She comes out and collects Cooper, putting her own collar and lead on him. She has head to toe PPE. Scrubs, apron, gloves, hairnet, facemask and plastic visor. Even disposable shoe covers. She takes Cooper in and immediately baths him. Shampoo/soap to decontaminate his fur. Then spends three hours grooming him. Then baths him again before putting him back in the kennel/crate outside for us to collect.
Brams has been shaking his ears/head loads since the eardrops were going in a couple of months ago. I took him back in for his booster yesterday and they took a sample from his ears to send off, possible infection. So he's back on the drops and he hates them twice as much as last time. And it's his birthday today.
