I've been watching Youtube vids and the gist of it is he'll hopefully come round over time as he gets used to us, but he's piranha'd six of my fingers so far, had to hide the blood from tiny eyes. I don't want him to bite my daughter really, it's bound to happen but the plan is to get him used to hands first as she's an absolute wuss with anything like that and she'll be too antsy after a good nipping. Tbh I don't want to go back in a room with him just yet.
He's been called Danny for over 24hrs now so it looks like that's the name that'll stick. He seems friendly enough, and not particularly timid. He just likes to nonchalantly tear off chunks of flesh. Maybe we should've waited more than two days to start doing the hands in the cage stuff.
I'll post up a few pics if I'm lucky enough for the adoption to go through.Tempy wrote:Incredibly envious of your greyhound adoption Cooper, have wanted one for years now. Scotland is full of them, wee rescue buggers.
