That being said, I'm currently packing my suitcase for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup in America.
This one is going to be the ultimate mental road trip. Seven states over four weeks.
This time out, our team has the honour of doing the whole shebang from the opening ceremony at The Rose Bowl in California, all the way through to the final in Chicago a month later.
We'll be traveling to Pasadena, Minneapolis, Houston, Nashville, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
Sounds awesome (and it will be), but the kicker is the mad schedule and the first five venues being double headers with back to back matches. That's always a crusher.
Going to be a lot of get in, set up, double header, get out, move on, rinse, repeat. Very few actual days off, but the upside is we get paid more for double headers, and less for time off, so all in all it's going to be a huge earner.
So there you go. I leave this Wednesday. Expect pictures of stadiums and steaks, and cameramen lost in the desert. This time it's Production Team One vs Trump's America.
fasten your seatbelts, we're in for a bumpy ride
