Archer and Wood both had an over left. I genuinely cant believe with those as options against tail enders we picked Rashid.
If we only needed one wicket, perhaps its worth the gamble, but we weren't getting them all out. It should have been about stopping the runs, and launching missiles at someone who averages under 12 seems a more likely way of doing that to me.
Starc is alright. I think Larry got it right - for a fast ball it could easily have slipped to the boundary. with the spinner you can’t get a fluky boundary - you have to do something good.
In the IPL, Tom Curran got given caught out, despite the ball coming off his thigh, and it bouncing before the wicketkeeper got it. He immedietly tried to review but the previous batsman had wasted their review on an easy LBW. As such he was told to leave the field. Then the umpires on field had a chat, and the 3rd umpire started reviewing it somehow. It was then given not out as it clearly didn't hit the bat and bounced before the catch.
But then we saw ball tracking just for the TV, not the 3rd umpire, and it shows it was hitting the wicket. So he was given out for something that wasn't out, which was then overturned despite it not being able to be, but he should have been given out for something else, which wasn't looked at.
