Last time I saw him was iirc '93 and he had Booker T and the MG's as his backing band. Still to this day the loudest gig I've ever witnessed. They did a cover of All Along The Watchtower that I genuinely thought was going to bring the fucking roof down on the SECC. Just incredible.
Also saw him in '80 at Wembley arena. That first time you witness Like a Hurricane being played in the flesh is something that just stays with you.
