Earthworm is better on MD.
Pilotwings for sure though, great game.
The port on new 3ds clearly does not do it justice then cos it plays like shite now

Agree with both these statements

For some reason I forgot it was released on the MD.retroking1981 wrote:Earthworm is better on MD. Pilotwings for sure though, great game.GooberTheHat wrote:SNES needs Earth worm Jim and Pilot wings adding.

MM2 is where the memories are for most I'd wager. A bit like how Virtua Fighter would probably get the nod over Virtua Fighter Remix on Saturn.
But we wouldn't pick SFII over Super SFII would we?
Isn't this all about picking the cream of the crop.

I don't know TBH. I just always thought of Turrican as an Amiga series.Yossarian wrote:Although, as far as Turrican goes, I believe that Mega Turrican was designed specifically for the MD.
I bought a 6 button pad with it as well after some very high review scores.optimark_prime wrote:Only played the MD version but it was so damn hard!Mega CD also had the definitive version of Eternal Champions which I know everyone remembers fondly. Not sure how I forgot that either. Shining Force 2 should also be included.optimark_prime wrote:Shining Force

Moot_Geeza wrote:I've got a reasonably good anecdote about Eternal Champions that I can't remember properly. I asked Richard Ledbetter about it at a potential Dreamcast mag 'thinktank' (where I got paid to visit EMAP!), and his answer involved some ill-timed holidays and whoever was left in the office loving the game so much they had a hand in the Mean Machines Sega review too. Reckons it was genuine, but who knows.
