I'll be able to put a vid up on Tuesday when my internet comes back. Although by then Muzz's obsessive side will have kicked in and my time will be old news.
I won't be playing this tonight as I've managed to get back into Tomb Raider and I want to keep the momentum going. Happy enough with my greenie anyway. Do you guys want me to keep track of the rankings and post results or are we happy to allow me to be lazy (Shabby wins the week as it stands)?
Andy, can you pick a number/track please for this week.
Could nae improve my time so grats shabby (and beaten by moots too).
BUTTTT... I got gold on #66 at last, so that's that block done & 60 gold overall in fact. Onto the 100 block, golded 101 but gonna do all of them and then hit 30s & 70s & 110s (which will by then be unlocked...). And then the dread that is 10s/50s/90s...
Vote for next week: #74. Cos I've only got a silver and the picture says "chicane" so what can possibly go wrong?!
So the second half of this game is basically impossible. Getting golds in the 100s is hard, hard work. Basically 45s of unfaltering driving needed, minimum. In twitchy cars with bumpy bumpy. I think I might quit for a second time.
I mostly like it so far (finished the easiest bunch of tracks in the campaign).
A couple of questions.. is bronze always enough to progress?
It feels quite ..loose.. is it a case of learning the absolute optimum route and controls or just winging it until you get through.. I can quite get the drift together. It often seems faster to just bounce off the outside of the track.
No, you need all bronze to unlock the second series, then all silver in both the first two series to unlock the third. I'm assuming you need all gold in all three to unlock the fourth. I will never unlock the fourth.
Yar. I've got silver (or gold) in all of the first series and most of the second now. Will probably unlock the third series tonight, but there's no danger of me managing all golds in S2, let alone S3, whatever that looks like.
