Too similar to the first, without being as inventive. Also, post-MGSV.hylian_elf wrote:Dishonoured 2 is.... good. Went from good to great to good by the end. Something wasn't quite right. Maybe the story and characters.
I've started from scratch - mainly to experience to soundtrack again (which had become a regular listen for me separately from the game itself) but also because I had no idea where I was in it.Moot_Geeza wrote:I should go back to it. I stopped playing because I'd heard an early patch was erasing people's saves on 360, then just drifted away from it.

The exploding zombies is where I gave up. Had a character who'd lasted for over 4 hours up to that point and then they introduce that with no warning. I wasn't enjoying it much anyway and that was enough for me. It also just wasn't scary, which was a pretty major failing.Webbins wrote:Updated with ZOMBI completion. Another one I had let fall by the wayside, despite initially enjoying it. Picking this back up I was reminded how much I liked the premise, the isolation, the familiarity of the landmarks, the permadeath. It feels like a unique zombie game to me. I reintegrated myself with the story after leaving it around 60% done. On this last stretch the game decided to throw oxygen tank wearing instakilling zeds at me, after all of the prior undeads were manageable, believable zombies. This was disappointing and led to a few cheap, frustrating deaths. Not to be dissuaded I pushed on and despite a limp end, I still really enjoyed this (7.5).
