I used Play.com until I couldn't, so Amazon doesn't stretch back as far.
Amazon goes back to 2010 - The Laurel & Hardy Box Set, Grinderman 2 and a Decemberists EP. The first games to appear are Il-2 Sturmovik and Mass Effect 2 on 360.
I think the first thing I ordered from Play.com was High Noon, in the early days of dvd, and a compilation album called Sweet Relief (maybe those were Playusa).
Christmas by Elaine Page in 2011. Was my mums favourite christmas album and she had it on vinyl but the album went missing many moons ago and she could never find it in the shops. I checked on Amazon and boom, happy mother. It set a trend because for the first 3 years all my amazon purchases are gifts for people. Its a great site to find something unique for someone.
My first Amazon order was the Tokyopop edition of the soundtrack to Final Fantasy IV, made on 4 October 2002. Apparently I paid postage and packaging costs of £1.49 despite the price of the item being £11.99. How times change!

I eventually quit because I moved in with my then girlfriend (huge mistake) but also because I could never get into the 'process' part of the course, and as such I kept getting middling grades as I rarely did anything at home, but the truth was my parents hated mess and didn't really support me going to Art College after I'd failed regular college.
November 2003 - Secret Weapons Over Normandy (Xbox), League of Gentleman Series 3 (VHS), Speakerboxx/Love Below - Outkast, Crap Towns: The 50 Worst Places to Live (book), The Last Precinct - Patricia Cornwell, Schott's Food and Drink Miscellany (book).
A mixture of personal and early Christmas orders.
GT: WEBBIN5 - A life in formats: Sinclair ZX81>Amstrad CPC 6128>Amiga 500>Sega Megadrive>PC>PlayStation 2>Xbox>DS Lite>Xbox 360>Xbox One>Xbox One X>Xbox Series X>Oculus Quest 2
Hey, you actually finished that path though. I never bothered to actually sit down and improve my skills and in a world of twitter artists it makes me miserable. Maybe i'll go back to drawing one day.
Think mine was a rock fountain thing to go in my then girlfriends gecko's tank. Used it about a week then put it back in the box as crickets kept drowning in it.
